EP-Quick Freeware 1.6 Available

A minor update to EP-Quick to support EnergyPlus 3.1 and EnergyPlus 4.0. You can still use EP-Quick on all of the releases of EnergyPlus since version 1.2.1.

EP-Quick Freeware 1.5 Available

EP-Quick is now compatible with the revised input language of EnergyPlus 3.0. The object names and keywords in the latest version of EnergyPlus that changed are all supported. You can still use EP-Quick on all of the releases of EnergyPlus since version 1.2.1.

EP-Quick 1.3 Available - Now Free

Updated EP-Quick to be compatible with the latest version of EnergyPlus. This was mostly just updating the version object and a few report variable names. The bigger news is now EP-Quick is free. It is fully functional and requires no registration or payment.

Minor Bug Fix

Found and fixed another bug. This time when editing a numeric input and pressing the "New" button (while still in edit mode) caused a crash. The fix is in the latest download.

Release of EP-Quick 1.2

EP-Quick has been updated to write files compatible with the latest version of EnergyPlus, version 1.2.3. It will still write EnergyPlus 1.2.1 and EnergyPlus 1.2.2 files if you select that option.

Official Release of EP-Quick

Please download and try out EP-Quick. It is one of the first interfaces for the EnergyPlus building energy simulation program. The download is a demo until purchased and registered. With the demo all features are available except for creating an IDF file for building with more than three sides. Once registered, IDF files can be created for all the templates avaible. Many templates are available for common shaped buildings. Thanks to the many people who helped finding bugs with the beta version.
